What to Expect
You’ll be given a cooking class almost as soon as you arrive in Marrakech, settling in to a new routine of cooking and relaxing by afterwards enjoying rooftop cocktails overlooking the High Atlas Mountains and dinner in the Grand Dining Room of your luxurious villa. The following day will consist of a pool side lunch and hands on cooking lesson, as well as a guided shopping tour of the Marrakech Medina market. You will have time to freely roam should you wish, but your guides will be able to translate and barter for you when buying produce and spices. You will also be touring the Museum of Marrakech and witness the local craftsmen and their works. The evening will be filled with live entertainment and champagne in the La Terrace des Berberes before dinner. The following day will also feature a cooking class before lunch, and then the afternoon will be free to relax and perhaps enjoy a massage or a traditional steam bath. You will be treated to dinner under the stars following another cooking lesson using the traditional Moroccan bread oven in an exterior kitchen. You will also have the opportunity to experience the High Atlas Mountains, travelling through this region as we visit the Kasbah du Toubkal at Imlil. You will ride mules up the easy route towards the Berber village here where we will enjoy a traditionally cooked lunch amongst the locals. You will also visit the Jardin Majorelle, the Yves Saint Laurent Gardens, the Djemma El Fna Square and the Koutoubia Minaret whilst in Marrakech. The following morning will consist of another cooking lesson before lunch, and then another in the afternoon after a relaxing midday with plenty of free time. Dinner will be a Graduation Ceremony and a formal dinner in the Villa before you leave the following day after a lovely buffet lunch.
