Morocco Camel Treks

Exposing you to the authentic, friendly and generous Moroccan culture and personality as you visit the small towns and walk across the lapping shores, the camel treks are an experience you and your family will remember for the rest of your life. Staying also in hotels, riads and kasbahs of your choice along the way, the experience is also one that is not too physically demanding, and an English and French speaking guide is there to assist you with any issues throughout the tour. The cuisine will differ as you cross from region to region, meaning that the wide variety of authentic Moroccan food will excite and delight you, keeping you on your toes throughout the trek. This is also a great way to experience the cuisine outside of the western-geared restaurants that feature in many of the larger tourist cities, giving you the first-hand experience of life in this beautiful country.

Learning to respect the native culture of Moroccan’s is also something that this trek will give you an opportunity to do, learning about the way we dress and our mannerisms and how their customs differ. While the people are relaxed and understanding, we attempt to be as polite and respectful to the communities we work with or through, and therefore we teach our guests the proper way to dress according to Moroccan customs. Through this, we hope to educate our guests on the many differing ways of life that co-exist peacefully in this country, and hope for them to take home this understanding and accepting attitude and apply it to their everyday lives.You don’t have to go on a spiritual journey through Morocco alone, though, you can simply take in it’s wonderful sights and enjoy it’s daily life alone, leaving the stress of work and commitments behind. We take care of the organisation, planning and transport so you don’t have to – rather you can eat, sleep and enjoy doing what you want to do during your time alone. There are plenty of places to go to entertain yourself, and plenty of things to see, hear, read and taste to keep yourself occupied in Morocco, so you’ll never have to worry about being bored or unstimulated. Rather, you have the freedom to, should you wish, return again and again to a particular restaurant or do the camel trek twice – because no one’s going to stop you. To fully immerse yourself in the Moroccan culture, travelling solo is a great idea.

Alternatively, you can join one of our travel groups, touring across Morocco each alone, but together, sharing experiences and making new friends. The people you meet during these journeys become life long friends, as do the guides and everyone involved, due to the fact that under the stars in the middle of the Saharan Desert, these people become your family.
