Our Story
Each of us involved with Morocco Getaway started off in a humble way, working for a major international tourism group that operated in our home country of Morocco for many years. We were tour guides, drivers and planners. We were deeply in love with our country and we loved sharing it with people from across the world. However, we were concerned about lack of understanding about Morocco; a lack of knowledge about it’s people, it’s culture, it’s variety and it’s colour. We saw this not only in the company we worked for, but in all tour companies internationally. Rather than trying to improve the company we worked for, we decided we would create our own.

It surpassed all our expectations. Morocco is a truly beautiful country, with such a varied and diverse landscape.
We loved the houses in Ifrane. From the outside, they look like Swiss chalets, but everything inside is most definitely Moroccan.
The Fez markets were wonderful, the winding streets seemed to never end and the amount and variety of the stalls was incredible.
Our favourite part was the drive over the Atlas Mountains and the views were truly amazing. Each town we stopped at, we were always made feel welcome and tasting the different foods was a real treat. We are hooked on tajines now!
