Once renowned for a sultan’s palace that was said to rival Versailles, today, only the Old Granaries and stables remain due to a powerful earthquake. Our journey takes us past the Holy City of Moulay Idriss, a significant pilgrimage site named after the great-grandson of the prophet Muhammad. Later, we proceed to the Roman city of Volubilis, an expansive archaeological site celebrated for its well-preserved mosaic floors. Despite only 25% of the site being uncovered so far, this visit provides a captivating insight into Roman life in Morocco.
